Compatibility

Sampleman is a macOS instrument plug-in in Audio Unit and VST3 formats. The installer includes Apple Silicon and Intel versions. A compatible instrument plug-in host is required; Sampleman does not run as a standalone app. Windows and Linux versions are not included.

Minimum supported macOS versions are still being verified. Before purchasing, contact [email protected] with your macOS version, Mac model, DAW version, and preferred plug-in format if you need compatibility confirmation. The browser demo lets you explore Sampleman, but does not establish compatibility with your Mac or DAW.

Delivery and installation

After purchase, open View Order in your receipt to download Sampleman-0.1.0-signed.pkg, the signed and notarized macOS installer. Quit your DAW, open the installer, and follow the macOS prompts. Installation requires administrator permission and adds Audio Unit and VST3 plug-ins to the system plug-in folders. Reopen your DAW and rescan plug-ins if needed, then load Sampleman as an instrument. No license-key activation is required.

If Sampleman does not appear or macOS shows a warning, contact [email protected] with the exact message, your macOS version, DAW/version, and AU or VST3 format. Please do not disable macOS security protections. If you previously installed a beta, mention that in your support request; older copies can remain in user plug-in folders.
